A new history of Italian design, this time devoted to the world of children and to the design and architecture that has been created for them. It includes the games and images that have amused and informed them, the spaces within which they took their first steps, and the objects they used to discover the world.
The 10th edition of the Triennale exhibition provides an overview of Italian design, focusing specifically on the playful world of children, thus toys, games, illustrated books, and more, covering a broad palette of intentions, practices, and objects. Visitors will get a glimpse of both the species of amusements and the spaces of play from late 18th century to the 21st. Finally, «Giro Giro Tondo» features recent video games developed by Italian indie studios such as Santa Ragione, We Are Muesli and more. Giro Giro Tondo will remain open until February 18, 2018. Expect a plethora of collateral events / talks / workshops etc.
