Eldbjørg Ribe, født i 1947 på Sørlandet, er bosatt i Oslo og har jobbet som freelance illustratør siden 1983. Ribe har tegneutdanning fra Statens Lærerskole i forming på Notodden og Westerdals reklameskole. Hun har illustrert alt fra avistegninger, for tidsskrifter, skolebøker, barnebøker, politisk satire og utsmykninger. Hun jobber nå i Tegnekompaniet.
