Denne uken arrangeres det en forskningskonferanse i St. Petersburg om nordisk barnelitteratur og leseerfaringer. Konferansen er en del av prosjektet “Children’s Reading Culture today – Needs and Challenges. Nordic-Russian Examples and Best Practices” – og instituttets direktør Kristin Ørjasæter vil delta med innlegg sammen med en rekke andre forskere fra de nordiske landene, samt tegneserieskaperne Anders Kvammen og Anja Øverby.
Ansvarlig for konferansen er det finske instituttet i St. Petersburg, i samarbeid med en rekke russiske fag- og forskningsinstitutsjoner, de norske og svenske generalkonsulatene i St. Petersburg, samt det danske kulturinstituttet.
